Tear up the lettuce and divide between
four small bowls. Drain the tomatoes over a jug (keep the juice to
drink). Divide the tomatoes between the bowls. Halving them if large.
Sprinkle with pepper. Mix the well shaken dressing and lemon juice in
a bowl. Halve the avocados, take out the stones (pits) and scoop out
the flesh in pieces with a spoon. Toss the pieces at once in the
dressing and spoon the fruit and dressing over the tomatoes.
